OpenSpy archives websites before and after somebody pulls the plug, plus public-record
collections that deserve provenance, hashes, and limitations instead of a trending list of
names.
Takedowns are announced loudly and preserved badly. Banners disappear, links rot, and six
months later everybody cites the same compressed JPEG. OpenSpy keeps the best available copy,
the source trail, and the awkward limitations.
The BlackSuit onion address was archived with an Operation Checkmate seizure notice dated 24 July 2025. The U.S. Department of Justice later confirmed that coordinated actions on that date took down four servers and nine domains.
On 16 June 2025, Europol announced that Archetyp Market had been taken offline during Operation Deep Sentinel. The action targeted the market's infrastructure, administrator, moderators, and major vendors; a full-resolution seizure notice is preserved here.
